Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles during night shifts.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain signatures for all shipments.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and comply with DOT regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Ensure the truck and trailer remain clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
