Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, medical supplies, and perishable goods across Oakland
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload merchandise using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and recipients using GPS tracking systems
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries during peak nighttime hours
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Oakland geography and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with mobile delivery tracking apps
