Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for overnight delivery routes throughout the Bay Area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Load/unload cargo with precision and proper equipment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while meeting tight delivery windows
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
