Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers within the Atlanta metro area.
- Load and unload packages safely using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Interact professionally and positively with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate delivery documentation and manage proof of delivery (POD) records.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized personal appearance and adhere to the uniform code.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries and checking routes.
