Responsibilities
- Safely navigate Jacksonville metropolitan area during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Accurately deliver packages to residential/commercial addresses using GPS routing
- Maintain delivery logs and proof-of-signature documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-shift and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch via mobile app for real-time updates
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville streets and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment)
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- High school diploma or equivalent required
