Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures at warehouse and delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Availability to work overnight shifts 4-5 days weekly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Austin area and surrounding communities preferred
