Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking and scanning systems
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues in real-time
- Safeguard company assets and ensure proper handling of sensitive packages
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area streets and navigation systems
- Reliable transportation to/from shift location
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery app usage
