Responsibilities
- Execute efficient night-time delivery routes across San Jose using GPS navigation systems
- Safely handle and transport high-value packages with zero-tolerance damage policy
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital proof-of-delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during after-hours delivery windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with mobile delivery apps and route planning software
- Availability to work 10 PM - 6 AM shifts, including weekends
- Pass background check and mandatory drug screening
- Knowledge of San Jose geography and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
