Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using GPS tracking systems
- Verify delivery details and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route changes
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and secure cargo according to safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic knowledge of delivery routing software or GPS devices
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
