Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet delivery time windows
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Secure packages properly to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Colorado Springs area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for overnight shifts
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
