Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' trailers) across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning
- Report maintenance issues promptly to maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR/Regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of Detroit metro area geography
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (paid training available)
