Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight to regional destinations using company-owned equipment
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Handle secure cargo documentation and delivery confirmations
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Familiarity with hazmat placarding preferred
- Strong navigation skills and route knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
