Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages across Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-shift and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate delivery status with dispatch team and resolve customer inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during night operations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Reliable transportation to/from nightly shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions
