Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Wichita metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
- Adhere to strict delivery time windows and optimize routes for maximum efficiency
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Uphold company standards for customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience with commercial or delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Wichita streets and surrounding areas
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
