Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries across Milwaukee
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and handle various package sizes
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Milwaukee neighborhoods
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
