Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely overnight deliveries (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Verify package integrity and documentation upon pickup/drop-off
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential/commercial deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong familiarity with Kansas City metro area geography
- Availability to work 40+ hours weekly on overnight schedule
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
