Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metropolitan area roadways
- Availability to work flexible overnight shifts including weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
