Job Summary
As a Night Shift Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) safely and efficiently during night hours.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a DOT physical examination.
