Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional night routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision using modern loading systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills and route knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 6 AM)
