Responsibilities
- Safely operate refrigerated tractor-trailers on overnight routes throughout California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance troubleshooting
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and delivery timing
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation for all shipments
- Handle temperature-sensitive cargo with precision and care
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Refrigerated/freeze haul certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing delivery schedules
