Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Tennessee and surrounding regions
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Plan efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules and safety regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend shifts as needed
