Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes during overnight shifts
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate Tampa metro area efficiently using GPS and route planning tools
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Tampa area roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
