Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods between Portland distribution centers and regional hubs
- Maintain meticulous pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting tight delivery windows
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazmat endorsement
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Available to work consistent overnight shifts (Sun-Fri)
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and I-5 corridor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Hazmat/Tank endorsements and hazmat certification
- Experience with electronic logging systems (ELD)
