Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional deliveries within Kansas City and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage delivery routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems
- Communicate delivery status and delays promptly to dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro area and Missouri highways
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts (4:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Basic computer skills for digital logbooks
