Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated overnight routes
- Perform rigorous pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper securing protocols
- Maintain precise delivery logs and communication with dispatch
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient turnaround
- Proactively identify and resolve route disruptions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (minimum 3 years)
- 1+ year OTR or regional night shift experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug testing
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied weather
- Flexibility for extended overnight shifts (6-8 hrs)
- Strong safety record and situational awareness
