Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations in Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery sites, including signature verification and problem resolution.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies during night operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Night shift availability is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
