Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery across Nashville metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance documentation is maintained
- Safely navigate Nashville's nighttime routes with precision and attention to detail
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Secure and unload freight using proper loading techniques and equipment
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all nighttime operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Nashville area roadways and infrastructure
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
