Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for multi-state deliveries during overnight hours
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time delivery of freight
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding transit updates and route changes
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient dock operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and route optimization software
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
