Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for overnight deliveries within Florida and Southeast US
- Perform DOT-compliant pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining zero-accident record
- Coordinate with dispatch team via satellite communication for real-time route adjustments
- Complete paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
- Maintain clean driving record with no preventable accidents
- Support warehouse operations during peak hours when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in ELD systems and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of Florida highway systems and delivery protocols
- Flexible schedule availability (11 PM - 7 AM shifts)
