Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Secure cargo according to DOT regulations and company standards
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary using proper equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade County roadways and Florida highways
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
