Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across Louisville metro area and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Secure cargo and handle specialized freight when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Knowledge of Louisville metro area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and route optimization abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
