Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes across Los Angeles County with GPS precision
- Maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs and pre/post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and load management
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials (with proper endorsement)
- Represent Premier Logistics with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA County geography and major thoroughfares
- Strong understanding of DOT Hours of Service regulations
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Exceptional night vision and defensive driving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
