Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between Indianapolis distribution centers and regional hubs
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload shipments with precision using forklift training provided
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients in real-time
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Familiarity with Indianapolis metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic forklift certification (training available)
