Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently during night hours.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Basic math skills for toll and weight calculations.
- Experience with night driving is a major plus.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
