Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight between distribution centers and customer locations across Texas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Document all delivery paperwork and handle freight with care
- Communicate proactively with team leads regarding route conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with ELD systems and electronic logging
- Strong attention to safety and compliance standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule availability for overnight shifts
