Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across Central Valley routes with on-time delivery excellence
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load securement
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proven night shift driving experience in commercial transportation
- Familiarity with Fresno/Central Valley roadways and delivery zones
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication standards
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for field repairs
