Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for overnight freight deliveries across Denver metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs per DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while adhering to strict delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies
- Complete post-trip vehicle maintenance reports and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years commercial experience)
- Minimum 1 year of overnight driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro roadways and mountain routes
- DOT medical certification and clear background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer literacy for digital logs and communication tools
