Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for overnight freight delivery across the Midwest region
- Maintain meticulous DOT compliance logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch teams via mobile technology for real-time route adjustments
- Handle time-sensitive freight with precision and professionalism
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Utilize advanced GPS tracking systems for efficient route navigation
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 10 AM)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile communication tools
- Physical ability to secure cargo and perform manual lifting up to 50 lbs
