Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across Georgia and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Handle secure freight with proper documentation
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass DOT physical
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts
- Knowledge of Georgia roadways and regional routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
