Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight to designated locations across the Southwest region
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Assist with secure loading/unloading procedures when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD compliance and electronic logging
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts and weekend work
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
