Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight to designated locations while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery status
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills and route planning abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
