Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for overnight freight deliveries across Albuquerque metro area
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading with proper documentation procedures
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients during night operations
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro routes and NM highway systems
- Overnight shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM) with weekend flexibility
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
