Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight hours
- Plan and execute efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle documentation
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) certification preferred
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding status updates
- Uphall federal/state regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into trailer beds
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement highly preferred
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Flexibility to work variable overnight schedules
