Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently during overnight hours
- Transport freight to/from distribution centers, warehouses, and customer sites
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong familiarity with Baltimore metro area and surrounding routes
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
