Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for long-haul routes during overnight shifts
- Strictly adhere to FMCSA Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Manage electronic logs and delivery documentation with precision
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and cargo security
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
