Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight deliveries across the Pacific Northwest
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Accurately maintain electronic logs and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision using hydraulic tailgates and pallet jacks
- Navigate complex urban routes and industrial zones with exceptional time management
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies during all operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 70 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with Seattle metro area traffic patterns preferred
