Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
- Maintain meticulous trip logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure secure cargo handling and delivery documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient navigation and delivery timing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Dallas metro routes and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
