Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for overnight deliveries in Philadelphia metro area
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Operate in all weather conditions with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro routes and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour night shifts (10 PM - 8 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
