Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport freight across designated routes with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading with precision and care for various cargo types
- Respond professionally to emergency situations and route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
