Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight cargo transport
- Perform rigorous pre-trip/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic records per FMCSA standards
- Secure and unload cargo at various industrial/commercial sites
- Respond professionally to delivery exceptions and client inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of Southern California road networks
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50lbs and operate loading equipment
